2026 YoFiFest Volunteers

YoFiFest, the Yonkers Film Festival, is an annual film festival that takes place in venues in the downtown Yonkers waterfront area between November 6-15. Enthusiastic volunteers are needed to help set up and run the festival, serve as ushers and greeters, and assist with photography, videography, and marketing.

Volunteer requirements:

• Must be 16+ to volunteer (must be 21+ to work any of the parties)
• Must be able to commit to at least three shifts during the festival
• Must be able to move 20-50 pounds
• Must be able to use stairs

Volunteers are welcome to attend the film festival's screenings, workshops, and parties when they're not working their shifts. (Please note: volunteers must be 21+ to attend any of the parties.) Volunteers will receive a T-shirt to wear during their shift(s), and they will be provided with a staff meal and snacks.

Now in its 14th year, the YoFiFest Film Festival celebrates moving pictures, the people who make them, and the people who watch them. The festival is comprised of 10 days of screenings, a red carpet event, receptions, parties, workshops, panels, and networking events.
