Community Closet Volunteers
Mend By Me's Community Closet is a free resource where gently used clothing and household textiles are given a second life and shared back with the community. The goal is to make everyday essentials accessible to anyone who may need them—whether it's clothing, shoes, or household linens—while also reducing waste and promoting reuse. By redistributing these items, neighbors support neighbors and create a welcoming space rooted in care, dignity, and sustainability.
Caring volunteers are needed to help greet guests, assist shoppers, restock items, and support with checkout. Volunteers will create a warm, dignified experience for guests. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially encouraged to participate.
