Head Start Center Set-Up Volunteers - White Plains
Family Services of Westchester's Head Start program is getting ready to open its newest center, and it is seeking volunteers to help make this exciting new space accessible for the students and staff. Volunteers can assist throughout the week with classroom set-up, moving furniture, and organizing learning spaces for children and families.
Every pair of hands makes a difference in creating a warm, welcoming space for the children of our community. No experience necessary—just a willingness to help!
Volunteers must complete two steps to register:

Founded in 1954, Family Services of Westchester (FSW) is a private, nonprofit, non-sectarian social services agency that provides mental health and social services to strengthen and support families, children, and individuals at every stage of their lives. Head Start/Early Head Start is a federal government program that was created in 1965 to give preschool children from low-income families a "head start" on their readiness for elementary school.
