2025 Stuff a Stocking Holiday DIY Project
Volunteers are needed to create homemade holiday stockings and deliver them to Lifting Up Westchester to help benefit families in need! This is a great DIY project for the entire family and friends. Volunteers are asked to fill up to 50 small-sized stockings with individually wrapped candy, chocolate, lip balm, mini toys, stickers, and other trinkets. Feel free to decorate the stockings with glitter glue or be creative in other ways. The stockings will then be distributed to children and teens ages 5-18 to help spread a little cheer this holiday season.
This is an at-home do-it-yourself (DIY) project:
- Fill 5-50 small stockings with items such as:
- Individually wrapped candy and chocolates
- Lip balm
- Miniature toys and trinkets
- Stickers
- Decorate stockings with glitter glue or other mediums; be creative!
- Stockings should be sized between 3-8 inches; no traditional- or large-sized stockings, please
- Wrap completed stockings in Cellophane bags, if possible
