Grandpas United Mentors
The mission of Grandpas United™ is to give back to the White Plains community, connecting with and enriching the lives of White Plains youth aged 5-21. This intergenerational program provides informal group mentoring (with both youth boys and girls), one-on-one mentoring (with male youth mentees), ongoing activities, and special events. Grandpas United™ also creates an environment to support Grandpas by sharing with one another their talents, skills, and experiences to maintain their dignity, self-respect, and self-worth.
Grandpa Mentors do not need to be biological grandfathers in order to participate—they only need the time and spirit to give, to be 55+, and to be able to pass the required background check and fingerprinting. Express interest below!
