Dietary Aide Volunteers
Wartburg is seeking dedicated volunteer Dietary Aide Volunteers to support its dietary staff with non-clinical tasks to help ensure a positive dining experience for residents and program participants.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting residents in the dining area
- Setting up and breaking down meal service areas
- Distributing meal trays and beverages
- Light cleaning (wiping tables, organizing supplies)
- Supporting mealtime socialization and offering friendly conversation
Volunteer Requirements:
- Must be 14+ (with parental consent for minors)
- Must complete an orientation and training
- Must follow Wartburg's health and safety protocols
- Friendly, dependable individuals with a heart for service
- Good communication skills and a willingness to help
- Comfort interacting with older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work well in a team setting
Volunteers will be able to make a difference in the daily lives of seniors, gain valuable experience in food service and elder care, fulfill school service hours or explore a healthcare-related career, and join a supportive and caring community. Express interest below!
