Newsletter and Marketing Strategy Volunteer

The Center for Aging in Place is preparing to launch an e-newsletter and is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic volunteer to assist with digital communications and content strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining or sharing valuable experience in digital marketing and nonprofit communications.

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting in the development and organization of the e-newsletter mailing list
• Working with Constant Contact to set up and manage email campaigns
• Contributing to content strategy, segmentation, and messaging
• Supporting content planning and development
• Helping coordinate the integration of social media into the e-newsletter distribution
• Offering insight into digital outreach best practices for nonprofits

Ideal Volunteer Qualities:

• Experience with or interest in digital marketing, communications, or email campaign tools (especially Constant Contact)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Familiarity with social media marketing is a plus
• Passion for supporting older adults and aging-in-place initiatives

Time Commitment:

• Flexible; approximately 3–5 hours per week
• Short-term or ongoing, depending on volunteer availability

The volunteer's skills will help the Center for Aging in Place to expand its reach and impact through thoughtful, well-executed digital engagement.
