Food Drive and Pantry Re-stocking
Volunteers are asked to hold food drives in their area and deliver the gathered items to Volunteer New York! the week of January 11th-15th.
Once the food has been collected, volunteers will deliver the food to the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and stay to organize, weigh and shelve the food items. You are signing up here to be one of the families who pick up the donations at Volunteer New York! in Tarrytown, deliver it to the food pantry and unpack it.
*This is a family-only project for youth 8 and over with an adult. To sign up, please choose the "Sign up with a Team". Thanks!
Why families only? The goal of this project is to engage our youth and begin a dialogue about hunger and others’ needs in our community and empower them to take further action.
