Choice Pantry Food Distribution (Wednesday Evenings and Thursday Mornings)

The Ossining Food Pantry offers Choice Pantry food distributions to its clients and it needs volunteers to assist with its Choice Pantry. Volunteers will greet all clients, check-in current clients, interview new clients, staff tables with food selections, stock/replenish pallets and tables, and break-down cardboard boxes and cartons for recycling. Volunteers must have completed high school. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are desirable, but not required. Check-in staff must have basic computer skills to set up, operate, and put away laptop computers and e-signature tablets. Stockpersons must be able to carry boxes and cartons weighing 30 pounds.

This project occurs from 5:30-8:15 p.m. on Wednesdays or from 9:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on Thursdays. Duties on Thursdays include putting away food and supplies.
