Garden Buddies for Hospital Patients
Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is looking for volunteers with a green thumb and a love of working directly with people! Volunteer Garden Buddies will transport interested patients to and from the solarium. Once there, they will assist patients with planting cuttings into pots and then bringing the patients back to their rooms. Prior experience not required, but a knowledge of gardening and indoor plants is helpful! Volunteers must be 22+ and available on Mondays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Express interest below to learn more!
