Veterans Visiting Veterans
Northern Westchester Hospital is seeking veteran volunteers to visit and support veteran patients. Volunteers will contribute to a welcoming hospital environment by providing veteran patients with conversation and companionship. Responsibilities include communicating with and directing patients and their families and assisting patients during their stay.
Requirements:
- Must have received the COVID vaccine
- Mandatory orientation and training
- Submit volunteer application
- Dress in hospital attire
