Volunteer Drivers for Seniors
It Takes A Village 10591 is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping those aged 55 or older residing in the 10591 zip code area to live independently in their homes. Volunteer Drivers are needed to bring these older neighbors to medical appointments, grocery shopping, personal care appointments, and other social activities.
All volunteers are interviewed and trained before becoming a driver. Volunteers Drivers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear masks when driving. Express interest below to learn more; bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply!
