Recreation Volunteers and Entertainers

Wartburg Adult Care community is seeking enthusiastic Recreation Volunteers and Entertainers to join its team. Individuals with skills in various forms of entertainment and therapeutic activities are needed, including (but not limited to):

• Dancers and singers: bring the joy of movement and music to seniors through dance performances or musical sessions
• Artists and painters: conduct art workshops or showcase artistic talents to inspire creativity among seniors
• Chefs: share your culinary expertise by organizing cooking classes or preparing special treats for seniors
• Acrobats and clowns: spread laughter and amazement through entertaining performances
• Craft enthusiasts (knitting, quilting, sewing): lead crafting sessions or share skills in knitting, quilting, or sewing
• Games and activities organizers: engage seniors in various games and activities to stimulate their minds and promote social interaction

Qualifications:

• Passion for enhancing the well-being of seniors through entertainment and therapeutic activities
• Experience or skills in a respective field (dance, singing, art, cooking, acrobatics, etc.)
• Ability to adapt activities to suit the needs and preferences of seniors
