Grandpas United™ Mentors
The Ossining Youth Bureau is seeking volunteer grandpas for its Grandpas United™ program. Grandpas United™ is a nationally recognized, intergenerational mentoring program that matches volunteer mentors aged 45 and up, either individually or within a group, with youth ages 7-18. The program works with single-mother households, probation programs, Westchester Department of Social Services, and other community partners to provide support to youth who need positive influences in their lives. Prospective Grandpa Mentors need only be a grandfather, have the time and spirit to give, and be able to complete the required documentation and clearances.
