Thrift Shop Volunteers
Treasures Thrift Shop is a welcoming spot to shop for well-priced, good-quality, secondhand merchandise while giving back to the community and keeping textile waste and other items from being dumped in landfills. Run entirely by volunteers, 50 percent of its proceeds goes to supporting local nonprofits doing vital work. Treasures is looking for volunteers with a passion for community service to join its wonderful team to help address the volume of incoming donations and shoppers. Treasures Thrift Shop Volunteer shifts are available on Mondays 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
This opportunity is perfect for volunteers who have any of these qualities:
- Enjoy working with a team and want be part of a culture of fun, energetic do-gooders
- Would like to add skill-based experience to their resumes
- Have retail, sales, merchandizing, or other business backgrounds
- Simply want to get out of the house for a few hours a week
