Professionals/Retirees to Mentor Students
The Spring Valley High School Career and College Exploration Club is looking for professionals who would like to speak to students about their education and careers. This the perfect project for an adult professional or retiree who works (or used to work) in the healthcare, business, finance, design, communications and marketing, technology, or other professional services fields.
The club meets online using Google Meet every Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. for 30 to 45 minutes from November through the end of May. The goal is to build awareness of the broad array of career opportunities available to students as they embark on their professional journeys. Volunteers will share their work and education experiences. The club aims to foster a rich discussion on education, career, and self-actualization. Express interest below!
