2021-2023 Gilda's Club Ambassadors

The mission of Gilda's Club Westchester is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. For the past 20 years, Gilda's Club Westchester has created welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer—men, women, teens, children, and families. It provides a warm, inviting place where everyone can come together to share their experiences. Its innovative programs are an essential complement to medical care, providing individual counseling, support groups, workshops, education, and social activities free of charge to the community.

Gilda's Ambassadors are a devoted group of volunteers dedicated to the Gilda's Club Westchester mission. These special volunteers help spread the word about the organization's free programs in the following ways:

• Distribute outreach materials to locations throughout Westchester, Rockland, and Southern Fairfield counties
• Represent Gilda's Club Westchester at community events
• Assist Gilda's Club staff by distributing information, answering questions about programs, and sharing your own cancer experiences at community events as part of the Gilda's on the Go program
