Community Discussion: Donating for Equity
Every person has the power to lead, lend support, and take action for causes they care about to create a more equitable world. Being purposeful about the ways you give money and items can expand the impact an organization makes.
Join like-minded people to discuss the ways we give, both dollars and things, to create change in the community. Develop action steps that you will take in the next 3 months.
Volunteers are asked to:
- Read Civic Life Today: DONATE before the Zoom meeting
- Create an outline of action steps using a template
- Join the Zoom meeting, listening to and sharing ideas with others
- Take action!
We ask volunteers to keep their videos on to help facilitate a more engaging session. Community service hours will be given for volunteers who request them. Join us for this important group discussion!
We anticipate about 1-2 hours of work before the Zoom meeting, which count toward community service hours.
