Write Letters of Love to Seniors

The Town of Orangetown is collecting letters of love for Valentine's Day for its local senior citizens as part of its Operation: Love Our Senior Citizens project! Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to draw and write cards (either purchased as the store or handmade) for older neighbors who could use an extra smile. Volunteers can drop off their cards in the box marked "Operation: Love Our Senior Citizens" at Town Hall. All cards will be collected by Tuesday, February 9 and distributed later that week.

This self-directed opportunity is perfect for families, students, employee teams, and religious groups.

Important:
Please maintain proper social distancing while inside the building. Do not drop off letters outside of operating hours or leave them anywhere other than in the marked bin. If wearing gloves or other disposable protective gear, please do not discard them in any area of the building or on the property. There are plenty of garbage bins around for proper disposal.
