Youth for Hospice Volunteers

United Hospice's Youth for Hospice (YFH) mission is to empower the younger generation and transform youth volunteers into creative, hardworking, and motivated visionaries who understand the importance of hospice care and giving back to their communities.

Youth for Hospice volunteers are needed for various activities and events, including creating intake folders for nurses and new Home Health Aides, organizing the supply room, answering phones, screening visitors at the Hospice residence, and performing clerical tasks for the Human Resources Department. Opportunities are available for fundraising, gardening, and other special events, too, including the veterans recognition program.

This is a great opportunity for volunteers ages 14 to 18 who are looking to fulfill community service requirements and share their stories on college applications or in job interviews.
