Opportunity Details
Volunteer New York! matches student volunteers aged 18 and younger with seniors on a one-to-one basis, bringing compassionate conversation and care into their lives and giving volunteers an opportunity to listen and learn. Volunteer New York! will provide guidelines and conversation questions for the volunteers.
The program runs for 9 weeks over the summer, with volunteers making one phone call (approximately 20 minutes) per week.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 13+, Minimum Age:13+, Maximum Age:18
