Donate Items for Care Packages for Deployed Soldiers

United For The Troops is a nonprofit organization which collects and sends goods the military does not provide to soldiers stationed overseas. The goal is to help make life a little easier for those stationed so far from home. Some of these items include t-shirts, snacks, dvd's, and other goods. A drive will be held to collect items such as these as well as the items listed below:
- Snacks: Pretzels, Trail mix, Cookies, Nuts, Granola bars, Single serve condiments, Candy, Single Serve Drink Mixes, etc.
- Toiletries: Oral care, Individual sized laundry detergent, sunblock, deodorant, etc.
- Sundries: Magazines, Crew socks, Disposable cameras, Greeting cards, etc.
- Other Items: Hair care, Card Games, Baseballs, Soccer balls, etc.

There is free parking for volunteers at the Westchester County Center. Let the parking attendant know you are there to volunteer for the 9/11 event.
