New Rochelle Street Fair

The New Rochelle Street Fair has become a signature event attracting over 3,000 visitors each year. Local residents and regional visitors gather together to enjoy the eventful day full of entertainment, crafts, food and much more!

The Fourth Annual Street Fair will take place on Main Street between North and Centre Avenues on Sunday, September 18 2016 from 11 AM - 5 PM - Free Admission!

Age of volunteers: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
 
 

Street Fair Volunteers will be able to choose from a number of roles:

Check In – Info desk volunteers help direct people and answer questions throughout the day. Volunteers will also be provided with cheat sheets to answer the most frequently asked questions. Work in teams of two. 10am-6pm. Best for ages 18-80!


Beer & Wine Garden Wrist Band/ID Checkers - This opportunity has room for 14 people to work in teams of two for two hour shifts from 12pm-6pm. Must be at least 21 years of age.


Set Up Helpers - Attention roadies, help with the unloading of equipment & general set up of booth spaces, sound stages and the beer/wine garden! Can be male or female, at least 18 years of age and able to do moderate to heavy physical labor.


Block Monitors – Help greet vendors as they arrive, help them find their space, make sure vendors are occupying correct spaces and trouble shoot whatever comes up. This opportunity is from 9am – noon for up to 8 volunteers. Load Out


Helpers -
Assist with load-out of equipment & general teardown of booth spaces, sound stages and beer/wine garden. Can be male or female, at least 18 years of age and able to do moderate to heavy physical labor.  


Clean Up & Transport Items During Event (11:00AM - 5:00PM)  Help clean up trash left behind by patrons and support vendors.   


ID Check Volunteer (12:00AM - 5:00 PM) Check IDs and give wristbands to those 21+ to purchase Beer/Wine  


Exit Security Volunteer (12:00AM - 5:00 PM) Ensure patrons are not entering the area from back entrance.    


Clean Up After Event (5:00 - 6:00 PM) Help out post-event!
