Food Pantry Volunteers

Rockland County has declared a state of emergency in an effort to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to protect the health of county residents. The People to People Food Pantry is open and continuing its curbside delivery service to fulfill the needs of its community members during this difficult time. Volunteers are needed to help pack food and distribute it to the community Monday through Friday. Volunteers can choose from the available shifts per day: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Feel free to sign up for more than one shift!

Donate Diapers and Wipes to Families in Need

Surprisingly, so few people are aware of the struggle some of their neighbors face just to meet the basic need of diapering their babies. Volunteers can help these families by donating diapers of all types, brands, and sizes—from newborn to toddlers—to the Westchester County Diaper Bank. The greatest need is for the larger sizes (5 and 6) and pull-ups, and open packages are accepted. The Westchester County Diaper Bank also needs baby wipes.
