Every child should have a Birthday Celebration. These boxes deliver that celebration!
Volunteers will pack each box with: a box cake mix, a can of frosting, birthday candles, a birthday banner, a book, an age appropriate gift, and at least 2-3 homemade cards. Volunteers will also create the cards complete with a Birthday messages inside then finally wrap the box.
The Nyack Center will distribute the boxes throughout the year through one of their many programs to those in need.
This is a family friendly project that engages both parent and child in purchasing the gift for a child in need and coming together to wrap and pack the box, while putting their own personal touches on the cards.
About the Nyack Center: The Nyack Center serves the Nyacks and the larger community of Rockland County by supporting children, youth and families through educational and recreational programs. This non-profit organization provides a welcoming gathering space for vital before-and-after school programs, cultural celebrations, and community events.
