Volunteers are needed for sorting, cataloguing and organizing Our New Way Garden seed collection in preparation for planting, storage and later use.
A fun project for a family and children which encourages conversation about where our food comes from and how many people need access to these programs and products!
About ONWG: Our New Way Garden is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization. Our mission is to utilize gardens to educate the public about locally and naturally grown food and to increase access to healthy organic produce to those who otherwise would not have access to such foods in their communities. By establishing gardens and donating produce, seeds and seedling, Our New Way Garden intends facilitate small local businesses and provide productive activities and positive sources of income for youth at a time when opportunities are limited.
