Opportunity Details
Clothing Sorting, Coordinating and Packing
Volunteers will be sorting clothing donations by gender, size and season. Then packing "Bags of Love" containing a week’s worth of clothing for local children in need. Age, size and related specifications are given and the volunteers are asked to create outfits and put together a personalized bag which has been requested by the child's social worker or related professional.
About the Kids' Kloset: WJCS Kids' Kloset is a volunteer-driven program that provides Westchester County children and families in need with donated clothing and related items free of charge. Since Kids' Kloset was opened in 2011, it has provided over 7,000 local children with clothing and diapers.
