MLK Tribute & Social Time with Residents of Schaffer Extended Care Center
Volunteers will come together and lead an MLK tribute day for the residents at Schaffer Extended Care Center. Volunteers will conduct social activities with residents including arts and crafts, games, hear a recital of MLK "I have a dream speech", and enjoy refreshments and more. The purpose of this project is to encourage and inspire "togetherness" by bridging the gap between children, youth, adults, and older adults while paying tribute to MLK.
