Welcome Mural Project
The Amani Public Charter School, which serves 5th through 8th graders, is moving to its new site in August. While the tile entry is quite beautiful, the school is interested in creating a mural that will welcome students and their families to the building. Volunteers are needed to paint the mural in the entry as well as a mural at the entrance of the Upper School. Volunteers will help to brighten the school while at the same time promoting the school's core values.
This project is a part of 9/11: Serve & Remember.
About Amani Public Charter School: The school's mission is to provide 100% of Mount Vernon students who attend the school from the 5th through 8th grade with the academic and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in competitive high school programs, college and the career of their choice. Amani graduates are academically accomplished, intellectually curious, and civically engaged young people who tackle challenges diligently and creatively.
