Westchester County Veterans Service Agency

The Westchester County Veterans Service Agency works to ensure that veterans and their dependents receive the maximum benefits from the Veterans Administration and other agencies at all levels of government. The Westchester County Veterans Service Agency was formed in 1945 to assist World War II servicemen and women returning from military to civilian life. Westchester County has the fifth largest veterans population in the state. There are approximately 100,000 veterans representing all periods of conflict, including the Persian Gulf War. As an advocate for the Veterans and their families, Westchester County counselors work closely with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal, state, local and private support agencies.
