Volunteers are welcome! And training is always provided. Most volunteer positions offer complimentary or discounted tickets to select performances throughout the year.
Inform visitors about the history of the historic House, the artwork, furnishings, and architecture.
Lead small groups of school children through the historic House as part of our Schools & Kids programs. Engage and encourage the students to ask questions about the House and the art.
Take tickets, assist with seating requests, and answer general questions. Given the training involved, we urge Ushers to commit to assisting at five concerts and one graduation per season.
Be the face of Caramoor! Greeters are the first point of contact for our audience on performance days, welcoming and directing them toward the performance venues and picnic grounds, answering general questions, and directing them to the parking areas after the performance. Given the level of training involved, we urge Greeters to commit to assisting at two concerts and one graduation per season.
If you are enthusiastic and friendly and enjoy working with people in a retail environment, consider helping in the Rosen House Gift Shop. While sales experience is preferable, training is provided.
