Arts Westchester Arts Ambassadors

Arts Ambassadors are community volunteers who value the arts and understand the role the arts play in improving education, enriching lives, and building communities. Above and beyond the specific activities they undertake, the volunteers are truly ambassadors for ArtsWestchester, helping the general public better understand what ArtsWestchester does and its impact in the county. As a Field Representative
ArtsWestchester provides financial support to cultural organizations—large and small—throughout the county, presents exhibitions and events at its building, and brings artists into schools, community sites and social service agencies. As an Arts Ambassador you may:

•  Visit programs funded by Arts Westchester -- artist residencies, classes, concerts, events,exhibitions, instructional programs, performances, and workshops

•  Document and report experience to Arts Westchester Ambassador Coordinator to be evaluated by program staff.

Through these documented visits, Arts Ambassadors supply the staff with information and insights to make a compelling case to funders and potential funders.
