2022 Holiday Grab and Go Elves

Join the Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) of Mount Vernon for its annual Holiday Grab and Go Toy Giveaway for children in the community. Enthusiastic and creative volunteer "elves" are needed to help decorate the space in order to turn it into a winter wonderland as well as sort and distribute toys. Volunteers are encouraged to dress up in fun holiday clothes and to express interest in one or more of the following shifts:

  • Tuesday, 12/20 from 4-7 p.m.: sorting, organizing, and packaging toys
  • Wednesday, 12/21 from 4-7 p.m.: sorting, organizing, and packaging toys
  • Thursday, 12/22 from 4-7 p.m.: sorting, organizing, and packaging toys
  • Friday, 12/23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: decorating the Y-COP site; donations of decorations will be gratefully accepted!
  • Friday, 12/23 from 4-7 p.m.: helping with toy giveaway to children
