2022-2023 Event Planning Volunteers

The Percy Grainger Society aims to promote the work and legacy of legendary pianist and composer Percy Grainger. Event Planning Volunteers are needed to assist with the Percy Grainger Home and Studio's annual Open House Fundraiser in April and other events, as needed.

Event Planning Volunteer responsibilities:

• Assist with planning the Annual Open House fundraiser in April (training to kick off in January)
  • Attend planning meetings
  • Assist with event schedule and checklist
  • Assist with contacting vendors
  • Assist with social media and publicity for event
  • Assist in-house venue preparation
• Support other events, as needed

Volunteer qualities:

• Enthusiastic and cheerful
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Experience with music, history, art, or teaching (helpful, but not required!)
