Northern Westchester Hospital is seeking Friendly Visitors to offer an extra dimension of care to patients and their loved ones. In spending quality time with patients, these volunteers help to create a brighter and comfortable experience while patients are receiving treatment. Friendly Visitors must possess friendliness, flexibility and sensitivity to patients and their families. Responsibilities include greeting and directing patients, assisting with activities, socializing with children, communicating with family members, and retrieving any supplies needed by patients.
