Marketing Coordinator

Travel Unity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on increasing diversity in the world of travel, is seeking a volunteer to help guide its marketing strategy. Volunteers from all backgrounds and those with disabilities are encouraged to apply!

Marketing Coordinators help Travel Unity convey information about its programming and successes by strategizing; delegating to coordinators and volunteers; and creating content for social media (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook), e-newsletters, and its website.

Volunteers should have:

1. Proficient writing skills
2. Leadership/management experience
3. Experience with or willingness to learn one or more of the following:
   1. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
   2. Mailchimp
   3. WordPress
   4. Canva

Volunteers must be able to work on a team, communicate regularly, be proficient with meeting programs (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.), and enjoy the excitement of collaborative output. An appreciation for the value of travel and cultural exchange to people of all backgrounds and abilities is a desired quality in Travel Unity volunteers.
