2021 Kids' Summer Learning Program Volunteers

United Way of Westchester and Putnam is looking for volunteers to assemble and distribute learning packs and food packages as part of its new Summer Learning Program that runs each Wednesday. Volunteers can sign up for as many or as few two-hour shifts as they'd like!

The Summer Learning Program provides children with educational and physical activities each week. Summertime is a critical period for young students to continue their education, and the activities provided by the Summer Learning Program are an exceptional way to maintain and enhance the skills learned by children during the school year. All training is provided on-site.

NOTE: This volunteer opportunity will occur inside an air-conditioned facility. Individuals who are unvaccinated will be required to wear masks. Vaccinated individuals may opt to wear a mask if they choose. Proof of vaccination will be required if you are refraining from wearing a mask.
