Virtual Summer Reading Buddies

Become a Virtual Summer Reading Buddy for a young child! Volunteers will be matched with a young reading buddy so they can read together and work on their literacy skills. This project occurs virtually over the course of six weeks.

Volunteers choose which day of the week and time of day they are available. They will be given instruction on how to take books out of digital lending libraries, as well as how to screen-share over Zoom. A basic proficiency in using computers and Zoom is helpful.

This program runs from July 6 through August 13.
