Book Donation Assistant Coordinators

The Friends of Warner Library book donation/book sale team is looking for a volunteer to learn the process of moving and sorting the book donations in preparation for its biannual book sales. This position is ongoing and requires flexibility in the volunteer's schedule as the donations are processed weekly and may need daily attention.

Volunteer requirements:

  • Must be able to carry heavy crates of books
  • Must be available during library hours and have a flexible schedule (usually Wednesdays and occasionally Thursdays)
  • Located nearby in Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow with easy access to the library
  • A love of reading is a plus!
