2022 MLK Day of Service Diapers and Wipes Drive

A Huggies study found that 1 in 3 women struggles to diaper her baby. An annual supply costs nearly $1,000, but sadly, public dollars don’t cover diapers. Parents often have to choose between buying diapers and buying food, even though a baby could become ill if she stays in a diaper too long.

The Westchester County Diaper Bank and Junior League of Central Westchester are hosting a diaper drive, in honor of MLK Day of Service, to support the Child Care Council of Westchester and the childcare centers it serves. All diapers donated during this service event will allow struggling families to provide a supply of diapers for their little ones. Volunteers who donate will also have a chance to meet some of the grateful childcare providers and parents receiving these diapers, as well as learn more about the silent epidemic of "diaper need." Sign up below for this service event and to donate new diapers and baby wipes!
