2021-2022 Bilingual Community Educators (Promotores)

The Alzheimer's Association is looking for Bilingual Community Educators ("Volunteer Promotores") to engage the Westchester County community by leading educational programs about Alzheimer's using prepared materials. Promotores ensure that the general public, caregivers, and people living with Alzheimer's or dementia are connected to Alzheimer's Association programs and its free 24/7 helpline.

Community Educators should be proactive, passionate, motivated, and have a demonstrated history of public speaking and education skills. Volunteers should be comfortable using computers to deliver a minimum of 12 presentations per year. Fluency in Spanish is needed.

Due to COVID-19, presentations are held virtually for now, though they will resume in-person in the future.
