As part of a state and national network of child care resource and referral agencies, the Child Care Council of Westchester supports over 750 child care providers and programs with training, technical assistance, and resources.
Unfortunately, many of these providers lack the extensive business knowledge needed to keep their programs thriving—and they could benefit from Child Care Business Mentors. These local professionals with backgrounds in business are crucial to offering guidance and providing much-needed one-on-one help with local child care providers on their budgeting, promotions, and other challenges. This is the perfect opportunity for corporate teams looking to engage skilled employees in an ongoing project to help their community.
Virtual and in-person opportunities are available. For in-person projects, volunteers are required to follow COVID-19 precautions (temperature checks, screening questions, face coverings, etc.). Express interest below for more information on becoming a Child Care Business Mentor!
