Opportunity Details
Santa may be quarantining this year, but Open Door Family Medical Center is spreading holiday cheer with its festive, fun, and socially distanced Toy Distribution events at its Brewster, Mamaroneck, Sleepy Hollow, Port Chester, Mount Kisco, and Ossining locations. Volunteers are needed to bundle toys on select Distribution Days. Volunteers must be able to stand for periods of time, lift and sort boxes of toys, and bag toys in a room with 2-3 volunteers. Bilingual/Spanish volunteers are needed!
The goal is to make this entire process as safe as possible. Volunteers will be limited in order to maintain social distancing and will be provided with a mask and gloves upon arrival if needed (volunteers can also wear their own masks and gloves). Please be prepared to wear protective equipment at all times throughout the event.
Please do not sign up if you are immune-comprised, elderly, or under 17 years of age. The volunteer coordinator will contact you if this event is canceled or modified due to NYS COVID-19 restrictions.
