Invasive Plant Removal at Tibbetts Brook Park - JESS MERGE

Volunteers are needed to remove invasive plants to prepare for Westchester Parks Foundation's Hudson Estuary Trees For Tribs program. This program, sponsored by the Department of Environmental Conservation, provides native trees and shrubs for planting along the tributary streams in the Hudson River Estuary watershed. These native plants will help reduce erosion and improve the habitat!

IMPORTANT: Volunteers must arrive on site wearing their own masks; volunteers are required to practice safe social distancing protocols at all times. Tools and work gloves will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own water. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

Westchester Parks Foundation engages the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails, and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system.
