2020-2022 Big Brothers Big Sisters Tutors

During this period of remote learning, students at every grade level, including college, are in need of tutors or learning partners. Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking Volunteer Tutors who can assist students for a minimum of two hours per week. All applicants will be screened for age and grade level preferences.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is accepting applications, making matches, and interviewing in-person and via web conferencing.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester (BBBS), an affiliate of BBBS of America, helps at-risk children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships. Bigs and Littles have fun together—and create memories that last a lifetime. Big Brothers Big Sisters calls it "Little moments… Big magic." Research points to the powerful, positive, lasting impact Bigs have on children's lives: Littles are 52% less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs, and more likely to get along with their families and peers.
