Food Drive - HOPE Community Services of New Rochelle

"HOPE Community services was founded in 1984 to address the problem of hunger that exists in our area. Our mission is to provide essential services to the underserved population of lower Westchester County, including food and housing. HOPE provides residents in need with support that promotes the value of nutrition and self-sufficiency."

Volunteer to host a food drive for the 5 targeted items that HOPE is requesting:
Healthy cereal, canned tuna, pasta/rice, canned vegetables, and meals in a can.
These specific items shall be collected in the weeks leading up to September 11th. On Friday, September 11th volunteers will make a curbside donation drop-off at the food pantry within the window of time given for this opportunity.
Volunteer New York! will take measures to reduce interpersonal contact and congregation, through methods such as: wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and sanitizing hands in between donation drop-offs. All volunteers must wear masks as they are dropping off the food drive items. This is part of the 9/11 Serve + Remember event.
