Opportunity Details
The Alzheimer's Association is looking for Volunteer Faith Outreach Representatves to engage the Lower Hudson Valley communities (Putnam, Westchester, or Rockland). These volunteers serve as liaisons between the Alzheimer's Association and local faith groups and congregations. Faith Outreach Representatives share information about Alzheimer's disease, free resources offered through the Alzheimer's Association, and the many ways to join the cause at local community and education events.
Volunteers should feel comfortable engaging the public and making referrals to the Alzheimer's Association. This is a rewarding opportunity to enhance your knowledge of this cause, perfecting your public speaking techniques, and knowing that you serve your local community and the people you care about!
