2019 Project Joy! Toy Distribution Volunteers

People to People's Project Joy! provides donors with the opportunity to "adopt-a-family" for the holidays by purchasing toys for children aged 0 to 18. Items needed include soft toys, dolls, sports games, scrapbooks, art and craft kits, action figures, toy trucks, building games, musical and educational toys, and children’s books. Gift cards from Target, Wal-Mart, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, and Kohl’s are especially appreciated by older children.

In order to make this year's Project Joy! a success, People to People needs volunteers to help:

• From December 2-4, volunteers will help create a Winter Wonderland, decorate the Project Joy! space, arrange tables, install shelving, and set up the toys that have already been donated.
• From December 5-8, volunteers will help receive new toy donations, count inventory, sort and categorize the toys, and place them on the proper shelves.
• From December 9-10, volunteers will prepare the room to distribute toys to People to People's families in need.
• From December 11-14, volunteers will welcome and register participating families, direct them to volunteer shoppers, and assist with packing their toys.
