2019 Hudson Valley Walk for PKD
The Walk for PKD is a 5K (3.2 mile) walk to benefit the PKD Foundation and raise funds for polycystic kidney disease (PKD) research. The event is a great opportunity to help make a difference, connect with those in the PKD community, and learn more about how PKD affects families.
Volunteers are needed to help with setup and cleanup, registering guests, distributing water and cheering on walkers, serving food, and placing signs.
Volunteers are expected to arrive at parking field #1 at 8 a.m.; registration opens at 9 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 10 a.m. Parking is free before 8 a.m. After that, Rockland Lake Park charges $8 per car (cash only).
