Tech-Savvy Teens to Assist Seniors with Zoom
RSVP of Westchester is looking for teens to assist seniors to learn how to join and participate in Zoom meetings. With your tech support these older adults, who may be experiencing isolation, can enjoy a fuller, richer life by being able to participate in Zoom meetings with friends and family.
Expectations of a Tech Teen:
- Attend an introductory interview and training with RSVP personnel. This process will take less than an hour.
- Provide the hours you are available; we will schedule the phone trainings within your schedule.
- Provide telephone support to seniors by teaching them how to use Zoom for the first time.
- Set up and lead the seniors on a practice Zoom call.
- Possess prior experience/comfort level with Zoom or teaching other cloud software.
- Be reliable and consistent.
Email instructions with screenshots will be provided to teen volunteers and the seniors to walk through in the phone call training. This training should take fewer than 30 minutes per individual.
